Michelle

Michelle just commented on my collages and said they didn't look like paper. That is because they are fabric. I have painted and printed on cotton, cut the shapes out and put them on to canvas, have also included upholstry fabrics for texture and then mounted them beneath double archival mat board.

By the way Michelle, give me a way to reach you directly!

Liz,
I'm loving these last 10. Canvas. Why didn't I think of that? Becasue I'm thinking they are paper or at least part paper. I've been experimenting with combinations, but have not been able to find a good base. I've tried duck but it's too heavy to sew thru. But painters canvas might be what I've been searching for. I think I need to contact QA and have them do something with screen printing. A 1 2 3 kind of thing. I love the way it looks but all the directions on-line make it seem so complicated. But you make it sound like an everyday event that just happens. But that's what a true artist does. Makes the complicated so easy. Do you teach screen printing in your on-line classes?
