Interview Posted

Karen has finally finished with me...I can get really verbose!

The interview with the Center for the Quilt is in their Save Our Stories section.

Great interview, Liz. I was surprised when I first saw the quilt that you chose to talk about because it isn't really like the work that I know you for, but the story behind it was very revealing and touching. Wonderful to read about your beginnings and process and all that jazz. Now you must get interviewed on the radio, so that I can hear you relaying the info. I am going to refer this article to people who keep yanging on and on about wanting to be a professional artist.

Wow.....what an inspiration to have such humble beginnings in the quilt world. And to take your mom on her own personal journey and to be able to share it with her...amazing and a little sad. I'll continue to be awed by your work, no doubt, and to look forward to reading about your methods in Quilting Arts.
