Multiple postings

I really am trying to figure this posting stuff out. I want to be able to put my pictures in like Melody does, a picture here, then some writing, then another picture..etc. I've tried to find the symbol that I am supposed to use to set up a queue but I just don't seem to be having any luck...and I thought I did pretty well on the computer....bear with me.

Liz, Here's what I do. I post pictures through Hello/Picasa. In order to do more than one picture per post, you write your caption, then hold down the shift key and enter two back slashes. On my keyboard, the backslash is above the enter key along with something that looks like a colon but with little lines. So then you see two tall lines at the end of your caption. Then press post, or enter, or send or whatever the Hello button says. Then add another picture and do the same thing until you have all your pictures entered. Then just click Post. Then I usually go back into Blogger and edit the post to add more text than I entered in just the captions. This is risky though. Sometimes the pictures just disappear. That is frustrating. Good luck. Sometimes Hello acts up. In fact, I posted three Easter pictures on Sunday night and they had not shown up by this afternoon when I posted them all again. And now they are ALL there twice. Arg.

I guess I'm a purist, but basic HTML isn't that tough to implement. You write a paragraph, you write a line of code to call the photograph, you write another paragraph. No backslashes and no funny business with disappearing pictures.

You can even set up the call-the-picture code in a separate file to cut and paste into the document as you write.

I think perhaps I need to write a bit on basic HTML to show how to do it. Would that be useful?
