Some New Work

I thought I would share three of my bigger Color Blocks pieces. I have just finished two more today but didn't get them photographed yet.

so, this is Color Blocks 20 and is 29 x 38 ":Color Blocks 18 which is 26 x 19":
Color Blocks 17 which is 28 x 21":
I am having so much fun with these! The ideas and colors just keep rolling right along.

Not much else happening...I have been spending way too much time on the business end of things and not enough on the creation end. Oh well, that is the way it goes. Being ill for so long has really put me behind. I have to update my catalogue and my website....more computer time!

Looks like you have been creating to me - where did these come from?!

I see lots of repetition and rhythm in these pieces.

Nifty pieces, Liz. Despite all that lost time, you're catching up!! I won't even go into what's happening in this household; suffice it to say I have not been to my studio at all.

These are really lovely. I especially like the middle one for some reason. Glad you are feeling better.

Block 17 especially is appealing to my eye.

I like these - 17 is my favorite, too. I also enjoyed the Words of Wisdom post.

thanks!

Hi Liz...

Bethany garner here from Kingston, ON and I follow your work closely whenever I can - these are all so playful and full of design savvy...a "Liz-like" series that has so many little quirks - especially love the series of repeating squares and vertical/horizontal lines...Color Blocks are a great descriptive, and they just overflow with unusual shapes and textures! Great and inspiring new work! Have fun...I would take any one with great pleasure...Keep flying!!!

Goodness Liz, these are fabulous. I dream in color and wish for the abstract...........
you seem to have it all. I cruise around your site periodically and find a lot of inspiration from you.
Sorry to hear you were ill for so long, hope things are better for you now.
