So when I came back I was busy painting fabric and then screen printing it.
I have now completed my 10 collages for Virginia Spiegel's Collage Mania for Fiberart for a Cause.
Of course, the numbers are all backwards but that doesn't matter on the blog. Take a look:
In the Woods 10
I want to keep on doing these as they are fun and I really like what is happening with them. What do you think?

Oh Liz...
I love them all. Especially the fall colors. They're wonderful. Can you give up on a secret? What kind of base do you use? Do you use mod podge? And how the heck do you do those beautiful screen prints? I know an artist shouldn't give out her secrets, but by God Liz, the collages look like your quilts. Which by the way, are amazing. It's hard to believe they are paper. I want to go look again. Keep it up. These are fabulous.
I love every one of these. They look fantastic on your new blog format.
Do what makes you happy!
They aren't paper. I look at these and see your quilts but the word collage brings to mind paper. And collaging with fabric...mmmmmm. Who would have thought? I'm so glad you did.
Liz, these are wonderful! I will be sure to reserve a whole page just for your collages on the Collage Mania website.
Oh Liz these are just wonderful! I love every single one of them. Virginia is so lucky to have you donate these fabulous works of art.
absolutely fabulous! wait that's a tv show... but applies to your collages most definitely!

Bravo Liz!! I love them!
Everytime I see a new piece of your art, I am in awe. I love your 10 collages. Fantastic!!!
I Love the leaf images juxtaposed with the simple shapes! Bravo!
Wow, they are all great!
They're gorgeous and definitely worth continuing with if the idea continues to interest you. I like the various color schemes and the juxtaposition of organic realism with geometric abstraction.
These are wonderful, Liz! I know they will raise lots of money.
These are Fantastic! Love the colors!
They would look great together. It would be fun to arrange and rearrange them. Maybe a Collage Mania patron will collect 'em all!
