This is a small sampling of the 40 postcards that are on their way to Virginia Spiegel for Fiberart for a Cause. The postcards, hopefully 1000 of them, will be shown at the
International Quilt Festival in Houston later this year. I am proud that I have contributed many to two previous shows, Houston last year and Chicago this year as well
as participating in the reverse auction. This has been a very easy way for me to assist in the fundraising for the American Cancer Society.

OMG! These are gorgeous. This is what Virginia means when she talks about quality! when I get back from my trip, I have to get busy - have someideas perculating.
Oh, what devine bliss. They're beautiful...absolutely beautiful. You make them look so easy...but then I try something like that... and it's not a pretty picture (postcard, if you will). But I keep on trying. I keep telling myself it's practice that turns to knowledge.
Liz! Wonderful....truly wonderful.
You are an inspiration to all of us! I hope that everyone will join in and follow your example. Serene designs that have a calming sense to them.
Wow 40 postcards is a lot. You are so generous and productive. These are beautiful. I'll be submitting some of my own as well.
These ATCs are beautiful!
You are a master!
Your satin stitching is marvelous - what type of sewing machine do you use? How do you get the width to change so smoothly? I wanna learn!!!!
As much as I'd like to be able to zoom-in on your postcards I also like the mystery of not being able to do that and figure it out by myself. That has sometimes resulted in interesting work. I noticed the light overlay on the second to last postcard (yellow background, brown strips, white mist) and wondered what the mist was made of. Will you let me in on you secret?
