I like this piece. But I like it better when the bottom part is cropped a bit. Then the blue-green pieces create some tension. Now they seem to be just floating on red sea.
Once again, terrific colors! I'm really attracted to that gridded quilting and the expanding "strands" of teal across the top. If it were mine I would add some very small teal shapes at a slight diagonal across the bottom. Something ever so slight, as if that area was a old trail from one of the upper strand shapes.
I like this piece, but I feel like it needs something more. Maybe something smallish and black? I'm not sure if some black beads would be enough...
